About Us

The Central Florida Musicians’ Association (CFMA) was founded in 1924 as “The Musicians Protective Association.” Those were the days when Labor and Management were assumed adversaries by their very nature. However, for the last couple of decades Labor and Management have been making strides towards working together, in order to create more amiable working relationships.

As part of our commitment to this philosophy, the CFMA is an active member of Labor and Employment Relations Association (LERA) and The Florida Labor Management Conference (FLMC). LERA and FLMC are made up of leaders from Labor and Management who share a common goal of promoting “Progress Through Partnership.” Today, we remain committed to this goal in hopes of building a legacy of trust between parties that will stand the test of time.

We’d love to speak with you personally. Please call us at 407-894-8666 to make an appointment. Note: Our office hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday. However, on occasion, the office is unattended due to outside business, staffing constraints or holidays, among other things. Our goal is to service the membership 24/7, so for any membership needs you have outside of office hours, please contact Mike or Sam. (Their cell phone numbers are in the directory.)

Testimonial

The Musician’s union has been instrumental in recent years to me and my family. When we first relocated to this area, things did not go as we thought they would. When we needed a little help to get by, to my surprise the musician’s union was the only organization in Orlando that could and did actually help.
